RUMOR: X-Men Series May Be In Development At Disney Plus

Marvel is currently working on multiple shows for the upcoming streaming service Disney Plus, and X-Men might be joining them.

Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to an end with Avengers: Endgame and Phase 4 is soon to be in motion with Spider-Man: Far From Home right afterwards, but Marvel isn’t stopping there. There has been talk about several TV Shows they want to do for Disney Plus and ideas for X-Men TV shows have reportedly been tossed around, according to We Got This Covered.

X-Men and the Fantastic Four will soon return to Marvel Studios after Disney completes its merger with Fox. With this in the works, Marvel has been tossing around the idea of creating X-Men related content for the future. Since the merger hasn’t been completed, none of these ideas are official. We Got This Covered’s sources indicate that these ideas are just ideas right now, so fans will have to stay tuned for more updates.

Once the merger is complete, perhaps we can expect more news concerning more X-Men material, and possibly even Fantastic Four. The X-Men universe is massive with many characters that haven’t been used yet on film or TV. Which characters would you like to see the most? Let us know in the comments!

The latest film in the X-Men Franchise, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, is hitting theaters on June 7, 2019.
