If Wonder Woman proved anything this weekend is that, besides being a good superhero film, it also served as important representation for young girls around the world. Long overdue for a female-led superhero film, people flocked to the theaters to see the movie and many posted their pictures on Twitter. Wonder Woman is an important example as to how impactful a film may be.
