Young Justice voice actor Khary Payton, who voices Kaldur’ahm aka Aqualad on the show, confirms that the voice cast for the series is back to work.
A recent tweet from actor Khary Payton, who voices Kaldur’ahm aka Aqualad on the show, seems to indicate that the voice cast for the series is back to work. Or at the very least, Payton himself is. Payton, who is also currently playing King Ezekial on The Walking Dead, is a long-time DC collaborator, having voiced Cyborg in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! since 2003. Check out Payton’s tweet below:
I was devastated when Young Justice didn’t continue after the first two incredible seasons, but I never gave up hope. I can’t wait for the return of all my favorite young superheroes and to see what they’re up to now (presumably taking on the combined forces of Vandal Savage and Darkseid, based on the Season 2 finale). For me, this show always felt like the last great DC animated series, a legacy that began way back in the early ’90s on Batman: The Animated Series. If you haven’t seen this show before, I highly recommend checking it out. The first two seasons are streaming on Netflix.
A release date for Young Justice Season 3 has yet to be announced. Be sure to check back regularly right here on Heroic Hollywood for all Young Justice news as it breaks.
