The Green Lantern Corps lands a huge fish in Zac Efron in this really cool art showcasing the Baywatch star as Kyle Rayner. Zac Efron has built quite a large fanbase thanks after becoming a household name starring in the Disney Channel’s High School Musical movie and has since moved on to much more dramatic roles.

The Green Lantern Corps movie is currently in development at Warner Bros. but has not cast any actors, including Zac Efron, as members of the interstellar police force to suit up and protect the universe from great threats just yet.
We did see a brief cameo of a member of the Green Lantern Corps. in 2017’s Justice League during a battle of the Earth’s alliance of heroes against the evil Steppenwolf. Although the lone soldier did fall to one of Steppenwolf’s Parademons, the source of the Green Lantern‘s power was sent away seeking a replacement worthy enough to carry the mantle.
Perhaps if Zac Efron is chosen to play Kyle Rayner then this ring could have found him decades later. This would be a great move for DC because they’d be adding youth and star power to their ever-expanding extended universe.
