Page 1-Zach Galifianakis Wraps On Ava DuVernay’s ‘A Wrinkle In Time’

Last week, Ava DuVernay (Selma and 13th) shared a whopping 10 videos straight off of the production of A Wrinkle in Time – the big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Madeleine L’Engle. Each video gave viewers a glimpse at what working on the set of a DuVernay film was like – a true collaborative effort with hours of hard work that seems to pay off for the production. Now, actor Zach Galifianakis is on his last day of shooting for the film which features a stacked, impressive ensemble of actors and actresses.

DuVernay comemmorated Galifianakis’ final day of shooting by sharing a photo of the actor on Twitter. The director has nothing but love for Galifianakis, describing him as a “sweet, wildly talented man.”

Galifianakis portrays the Happy Medium in the upcoming film. Although known mostly for his comedic performances, Galifianakis has showcased an impressive range in recent years. His performance in the multiple Academy Award-winning film Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) particularly comes to mind. Seeing him in this upcoming film directed by DuVernay is nothing short of exciting, knowing how well she directs her actors and actresses to deliver top-tier performances.
