While audiences never got to see Zack Snyder’s terrifying vision of Darkseid face off against the Justice League on screen, that hasn’t stopped him from releasing concept art and behind-the-scenes snapshots of what Darkseid could have looked like. One dedicated Justice League fan took Zack Snyder’s hulking version of Darkseid and imagined what he might’ve looked like in action early on in the film.
Although some fans still hope that the Zack Snyder Justice League cut will eventually see the light of day, art such as this might be the only chance to see what Darkseid could have been like in live-action. Digital Artist Skull101ify posted his version of the villain on Instagram, saying that he wanted to put Darkseid in the film the way Zack Snyder intended. Take a look at the artwork below.
