‘Man Of Steel’: Zack Snyder Shares First Pic Of Henry Cavill As Superman

Director Zack Snyder has shared the first ever picture taken of Henry Cavill suited up as Superman from his audition for Man of Steel.

Zack Snyder shared the photo on his Vero account revealing a clear look at Cavill in a replica of the Superman costume worn by Christopher Reeve in the original 1978 film directed by Richard Donner along with the caption: “I knew when I saw him he was my Superman.” You can check out the photo below.

On top of the spectacular directing and visual effects, Cavill himself received the most praise for his performance in the big budget blockbuster that kicked off the DCEU taking in a total of $668 million at the global box office.

He’ll be seen once again later this year as Clark Kent/Superman in the upcoming superhero team-up flick Justice League also directed by Zack Snyder.

The film also stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as  Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielson as Queen Hippolyta, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon. Here’s the official synopsis:
