In the year and a half since Justice League‘s botched release, fans have clambered for the long-rumored Snyder Cut of the film featuring Zack Snyder’s original vision. Just recently, new rumors of fully filmed scenes featuring Darkseid broke via The Exiles Network. According to the site, Zack Snyder cast actor Ray Porter as Darkseid in his version of Justice League. Now, Snyder has seemingly confirmed the report on the social media platform Vero, as seen in the post below.
While Ray Porter isn’t well known, Zack Snyder has always done a solid job casting for his vision in his work. Porter has been working in the industry for years, with his biggest worked tied with former Batman actor Ben Affleck in Argo.
News of a fight sequence with the Old Gods, Zeus and Ares and a younger Darkseid having been filmed and cut from Justice League broke just a few days ago. That along with the news of Darkseid’s casting paints an entirely different picture for what the film was supposed to be in Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. Judging from what has been confirmed to exist by members of production, actors and even Zack Snyder himself, there is no doubt that Warner Bros. has an entirely different cut of Justice League and fans want to see it.
What do you think? Do you want Warner Bros. to release the Snyder Cut? What do you think of Darkseid’s casting? Let us know in the comments below!
