Chris Terrio, the film’s writer, had previously spoken about how the dynamic would be a bit more lighthearted, but now Zack Snyder is expanding on that statement in the latest issue of Total Film. Here’s what he had to say:
“One of the more rewarding aspects of creating Justice League was having fun exploring the dynamic between this diverse group of larger-than-life characters with disparate backgrounds, ethics, and unique perspectives all trying to come together and work as a team.”
So it seems like each character will bring their own perspective and sense of humor, or lack thereof, to the team. Watching the Flash bounce off of more serious characters like Batman will be incredibly fun. Zack Snyder also stated that the offscreen chemistry between Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Jason Momoa, will also help boost the on-screen relationships.
“It not only offers an opportunity for great drama and complex relationships, but it also often results in great fun. It’s an exciting concept to explore and it only gets better when you add the component of our incredibly talented cast – their chemistry really adds to that dynamic.”
I’m incredibly excited to see it all unfold when Justice League is finally released, or possibly glimpse the dynamic in the first trailer sometime soon.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17th, 2017.
