Zack Snyder opened up about his original vision for Justice League at the three-day Director’s Cut charity event over the weekend. Joss Whedon notoriously took over filming after Zack Snyder’s daughter passed away. However, some DCEU fans have been vocal about seeing Zack Snyder’s cut of the film after the lackluster response to Justice League.
When Warner Bros. first announced Justice League, it was originally set as two parts. Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio were working on the script before Batman v Superman came out. At the charity event, Zack Snyder revealed when Batman v Superman came out to mixed reactions, Warner Bros. instructed Chris Terrio and himself to do a rewrite and the original script was never shot.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
