Zack Snyder Thanks Fans Who Support His Cut Of ‘Justice League’

Zack Snyder recently took to Vero to thank the people advocating for the release of his Justice League cut.

Justice League was a film that sadly had a lot going against it from the start. After the mixed reception to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Zack Snyder and the people at Warner Bros. attempted to change up the film in the middle of production. Principle photography on Justice League had already been completed when Zack Snyder had to vacate the film’s production due to a family tragedy.

After Zack Snyder left the production, The Avengers helmer Joss Whedon took over Justice League, supervising several rewrites and reshoots to the film. The results sadly didn’t track as the film was negatively received by critics and failed to meet Warner Brothers’ box office expectations. Since then, members of the fandom have come to believe that Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League has been hidden away by Warner Bros. and are demanding to see it. Now, Zack Snyder himself has thanked the fandom for their continued support.

In a recent post on his official Vero account, Zack Snyder mentioned how humbled he was by the Justice League fandom, its constant support and its efforts to raise money to to support suicide prevention efforts. You can see the full post below:

Here’s the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
