‘Spider-Man 3’: Zendaya Praises Doctor Octopus Actor Alfred Molina

Doc Ock is apparently really nice.

‘Spider-Man 3’ star Zendaya praised Doctor Octopus actor Alfred Molina during an interview with Carey Mulligan.

After reports surfaced online in December last year that Alfred Molina will reprise his role as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 3, the news was seemingly confirmed by Zendaya in a recent interview as part of Variety’s Actors on Actors series. The Spider-Man 3 star was speaking to Promising Young Woman‘s Carey Mulligan when Molina briefly came up as part of the conversation between the two.

Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus isn’t the only returning villain, as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Jamie Foxx will also reprise his role as Electro in Spider-Man 3. But during the Variety interview, Carey Mulligan touched on the work of Alfred Molina, Connie Britton and Molly Shannon when Zendaya smiled at the mention of the Doctor Octopus actor, adding “Who’s so nice by the way!” Take a look below.

What do you make of the news regarding Alfred Molina returning to play Doctor Octopus? Are you looking forward to seeing Zendaya in Spider-Man 3? Sound-off in the comments below!
