Did Zoe Kravitz Hint At Catwoman Role In ‘The Batman’ Last Month?

Zoe Kravitz may have hinted at playing Catwoman in The Batman back in September.

According to today’s reports, Fantastic Beats star Zoe Kravitz is in talks to play Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman. It was later reported by Variety’s Justin Kroll that other actresses such as Eiza Gonzalez and Zazie Beetz were also up for the Catwoman role. Kroll also mentioned that Zoe Kravitz was high on the studio’s radar for Catwoman back in August, but there was a chance Fantastic Beasts 3 filming may have prevented her from joining The Batman cast. This backs up our report of Matt Reeves and the studio looking for a Zoe Kravtiz-type for the Catwoman role.

Now that the news is out, a recent post has now resurfaced from Zoe Kravitz’s Instagram. In the post, Zoe Kravitz is sporting a Batman shirt, prior to reports of her playing Catwoman from Monday. You can check out Zoe Kravitz’s Instagram post from September below:

It is also worth noting that Zoe Kravtiz voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie. Are you a fan of Zoe Kravtiz as Catwoman? Do you think she was hinting at the role in this post? Who else would you like to see join The Batman? Sound off in the comments below!

Plot details for the film are still under wraps, though the project starring Robert Pattinson seems to be centered on a younger Caped Crusader as he tackles several of his more traditional enemies such as The Penguin and Catwoman. While Warner Bros. is set to restart the character’s story on the big screen, Matt Reeves has confirmed that his film will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic. Matt Reeves’ The Batman is also allegedly a full trilogy, much like the Christopher Nolan directed films with Christian Bale as Batman.

The Batman hits theaters June 25, 2021. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman and the future of the DC Films franchise.
