'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' star Zoe Saldana shares a video of her having the makeup for Gamora applied onto herself.
To portray Gamora onscreen, Saldana has to undergo around 3 hours of makeup. She could have opted to take the computer-generated route to make her skin look green like Gamora’s, but credit to her and the creative team behind Guardians of the Galaxy to immerse herself physically into this role.
Saldana shared a video on her official Twitter account in which she has her Gamora makeup applied onto her. It features 3 hours worth of work condensed into only 38 seconds.
Here, we see all the hard work the makeup artists commit to in making sure our performers are able to project the images that we loved from the panels on the comic book pages, to the big screen in live-action form.

Also, thank you to the makeup artists and hairstylists for the impeccable artistry that helps add more life to the world of the Guardians.
