Zoe Saldana talked about Gamora reacting to human superheroes in the coming Avengers: Infinity War and praised Captain America: Civil War's directors.
While promoting Live By night, Zoe Saldana spoke to IGN about Guardians of the galaxy’s Gamora reacting to human superheroes in the coming Avengers: Infinity War. She also praised the work of the Russo brothers in Captain America: Civil War, stating that this was one of the things that made her feel confident in regard of their future collaboration.
‘The good thing that keeps me relaxed is that these directors are good. They have a really good pedigree. Their last movie, I liked it. I liked their choices. And everyone that worked with them had a really great experience. And James Gunn is a producer on it, so I know that he won’t ever let the integrity of what he’s created for the Guardians ever be compromised. So I’m at ease. Plus I love the Marvel producers. They’re all great, they all want us to win.’
One thing did pop out as an interesting joke from Saldana was when she said that the Guardians really don’t think much about working with the earthling superheroes, but that they will ‘as a favor to Thor’. Maybe this was just her joking around, or maybe we’ll see a connection between these two worlds in the coming Thor: Ragnarok or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
