Ten years after Zombieland was first released in theaters, our favorite zombie hunters will reunite in a long-awaited sequel that also introduces newcomers to the post-apocalyptic world. Among the newbies will be Thomas Middleditch (who is also set to star in the upcoming MonsterVerse film Godzilla: King of the Monsters) although details on his role in the Zombieland sequel are currently unknown.
In addition to his upcoming role in the Godzilla sequel, Thomas Middleditch may be best known for his role on the HBO comedy Silicon Valley.
Official plot details are currently under wraps, though the film is rumored to follow Tallahassee, Columbus, and Wichita as they embark on an adventure to rescue Little Rock after the group separates following a disagreement between Columbus and Wichita. On their journey, the group will encounter new zombies called Homers (dumb ones), Hawkings (smart ones), and Ninjas (deadly ones) while Tallahassee will be pit against a female zombie-hunter named Nevada.
