Marvel Studios released the first official featurette for Avengers: Endgame.
A year after Avengers: Infinity War concluded with Thanos successfully using the Infinity Stones to eradicate half of the population in the universe, fans will finally learn how the surviving heroes plan to avenge their fallen allies and presumably undo the Mad Titan’s decimation. Now, the first featurette for the highly-anticipated Endgame explores how the Avengers are coping with the devastating loss to Thanos and Chris Evans may have best summarized the despair our heroes feel while offering a glimmer of hope for fans as well:
“Everyone’s doing their best to keep their head above water but its kind of a losing battle. We lost, and we’re not used to losing. […] They’ve truly leveled us, not just literally but morally and emotionally. […] The good thing is it’s aways easier to build people back up after they’ve been broken down and that’s what Marvel’s great at doing. It’s that shred of hope everyone’s looking for.”

New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Character Posters Feature Surviving & Fallen Heroes
Marvel Studios released new Avengers: Endgame character posters for both the surviving and fallen heroes of Thanos' decimation in Infinity War.
Nearly one year ago, fans were devasted when Avengers: Infinity War concluded with Thanos carrying out his mission to eradicate half of the population in the universe, including several MCU heroes. In exactly one month, fans will finally discover how the surviving Avengers plan to avenge their fallen comrades and potentially undo Thanos' decimation with the help of newcomer Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). Now, Marvel Studios has released several character posters not only for the surviving heroes who will embark on a game-changing mission in Endgame but also for those who fell victim to Thanos' eradication in Infinity War.
The line-up includes Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and many more!

Endgame will serve as both a follow up to Avengers: Infinity War as well as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before it, which have now been dubbed as the Infinity Saga by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, before Marvel kicks off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.
While plot details still remain under wraps, Earth's Mightiest Heroes are expected to team up with Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and utilize the Quantum Realm in their efforts to undo the decimation from Thanos' snap and bring back half of the universe's population, who were turned to dust by the Mad Titan.
