Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn shared his reaction to Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel Studios’ long-awaited conclusion to the 22-film Infinity Saga will soon hit theaters all over the world, but a lucky few have already witnessed how Avengers: Endgame wraps up the first decade worth of MCU stories. Among those fortunate individuals in James Gunn, director of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and executive producer of Endgame, who shared his simple reaction to the Marvel Studios epic in a post on his official Instagram stories feed. James Gunn is set to direct the third and final chapter of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise after helming DC’s The Suicide Squad. Of course, fans will first have to see if and how surviving Guardians of the Galaxy hero Rocket Raccoon can help Earth’s Mightiest Heroes bring his friends back when Endgame hits theaters.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
