Grant Gustin Becomes Negative Flash In Awesome New Image

Grant Gustin The Flash Arrowverse Crisis On Infinite Earths

Grant Gustin The Flash Negative FlashGrant Gustin’s Barry Allen transforms into the Negative Flash in an awesome new piece of fan art for the sixth season of The Flash.

In DC Comics lore, speedsters who gained their powers from the Negative Speed Force have given the name “Negative Flash.” Barry Allen was the first person to be dubbed “Negative Flash” after gaining a connection to the extra-dimensional field of negative energy as a result of being trapped inside it by Reverse-Flash.

The Negative Speed Force has played a role in Grant Gustin’s The Flash series before, but the titular speedster has not yet become Negative Flash. Now, Instagram user “spdrmnkyxxiii” has unveiled new artwork that depicts Grant Gustin with Negative Flash look for the Arrowverse series.

Full details on the sixth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash are being kept under wraps for now, though Heroes alum Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined the cast of the series as Bloodwork. In the comics, Bloodwork is a Central City morgue employee and hemophiliac who developed the ability to transform his flesh into blood-like physiology after experimenting with blood properties. The new season has also been teased to include an antagonist who will be the most personal villain Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen has faced since Eobard Thawne.

Grant Gustin’s The Flash season six will also lead to the upcoming Arrowverse event Crisis on Infinite Earths while the back-half of the season will deal with the fallout from the five-part crossover. With Arrow coming to an end this fall after concluding its ten-episode eighth season, The Flash will become The CW’s main DC Comics drama and Grant Gustin will seemingly lead the other Arrowverse superheroes forward.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man.

The Flash season six premieres on October 8, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news on the Grant Gustin series!
