#2 – Barry & Iris Will Take Big Steps In Their Relationship
Despite that in the Flashpoint Universe, Iris doesn’t know Barry (based on trailers), it’s not going to be a stop for the ace reporter and the scarlet speedster as they will be taking the next step in their relationship. The Season 2 finale featured Barry and Iris kissing each other before he ran back in time and despite of that, we will see the two iconic characters head down that path this season. During a Comic-Con round table interview with the Helbing brothers, when asked about what Barry/Iris fans can look forward to the “WestAllen” relationship this season, they said the following:
“This season you are going to see a lot of Barry and Iris. A lot of them together. It’s great!”
Given how much Season 2 spent with establishing how Iris is Barry’s true lightning rod, this year seems like the perfect time to go deeper into their relationship, as it gets more romantic. So for any of you that are big fans of Barry and Iris (including this reporter), this will definitely be Iris and Barry’s year.
