#3 – Killer Frost Returns (Or Debuts?)

When Kevin Smith tweeted out the front page of the 3.07 script, it was see-through and it was revealed that episode 7 will in fact be titled “Killer Frost”. With Caitlin Snow, we haven’t heard much on what is happening with her this season, obviously because we have yet to see the premiere and what her Flashpoint status is. Other than her mom being introduced, it has been very hush-hush. However, given that Caitlin is Killer Frost in the comics, and that we have seen her Earth-2 dopplegänger (sadly now dead) suit up as the famous villain, this is going to be quite an important episode for our Earth-1 Caitlin. Could the show however possibly introduce Crystal Frost or Louise Lincoln, the two Killer Frosts that came before Caitlin in the comics, and be what causes Caitlin to become the famous ice villain? Or will Flashpoint reveal that our Caitlin has been given powers through an event like the particle accelerator explosion? Maybe Caitlin’s somewhat troubling mother will have something to do with it? However they do it, something tells us that this will be quite an an trans-formative episode, in one way or another.
