John Wick: Chapter 2
The first John Wick was such a richly-entertaining revenge shoot-em-up, featuring some incredibly-shot action, impeccable fight choreography, and a legitimately wonderful turn by Keanu Reeves. It also helps that the men he had to go after killed his puppy, so without getting into too much if you haven’t had the privilege to see the film yet, let’s just say that they got what they deserved.
The first trailer for the sequel, John Wick: Chapter 2 debuted at NYCC and it looks like the action has amplified to 11. I love how the filmmakers take advantage of the lighting in certain settings like a nightclub and create such a visually stimulating sequence. Also, how can you beat the closing moment of the trailer in which we see a Matrix reunion of both Neo and Morpheus?
John Wick: Chapter 2 opens in theaters on February 10, 2017.
The actor also praised the freedom given on set.
